Jee Hye Kwon geometric jewellery


Jee Hye Kwon
A  Korean born and raised in New York. Inspired by  architectures, especially buildings that are
under construction. He illustrates the power of geometry  and structural. Uses classic goldsmith techniques
with contemporary designs.
Works with multiple gauges of  gold, silver and Shakudo (alloy of copper and gold) wire and sheet that are different tones. He brings this mix structure and spirituality into his own pieces, creating see throw  spaces. His goal is 
to express different form of human experience and vision trough architectural/geometrical  spaces while maintaining 
a sense of lightness, flexibility and transparency. 



Yumi Kato
Born and raised in Japan, studied textile and fashion design and has been passionate to work
with fabrics ever since. For more than ten years she has been creating jewellery and other items from Japanese fabric.






Samidari Earrings
Samidari means early summer rain in Japanese,, these earrings were inspired by raindrops and made
with Kofu an old Japanese traditional fabric, taken from a used of Kimono(Japanese traditional garment)
and carefully hand washed.
String Necklace
Made with a string of Kofu taken from a used kimono and carefully hand washed.Studded with gold, plated beads.
